The Pig In The Python is the debut album from Dead Boomers, following short run cassette and compact disc recordable releases on Sabbatical. The prospect of an aging population dominates these ominous narratives, exploring anxious visions of a seemingly inevitable future. Divided into two distinct segments, the lurid forecasts of the album's A side are comprised of rhythm and vocal led blasts that have defined recent live performances - while the B side features a series of heavy electronic themes. Familiar elements within the duo's arsenal remain in these pieces, augmented by gestures new to the project. The Pig In The Python was recorded to 1/4" tape with Neil Thomason at Head Gap, and mastered by Kris Lapke.
